GET ALARMED

"Get Alarmed, TN!" is a grant-funded fire safety education and smoke alarm installation program administered by the State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO). Launched in November 2012, the program distributes fire safety education and 10-year sealed battery smoke alarms to us so we can install them in your home at no charge.  If you meet the following conditions and would like to request yours, one of our firefighters will contact you to schedule your installation...just fill out the form below.  This is just one more community service East Hickman Volunteer Fire Department proudly provides to help protect our citizens.

The following conditions apply:

  • You do not already have working smoke alarms in your home.
  • The smoke alarms in your home are more than 10 years old.
  • You reside on the property in which you are requesting alarms in the Lyles/Bon Aqua Fire District.
  • The home is not new construction (new residential construction is ineligible for the program).
